Mushrooms can grow anywhere

Mia's first exhibit was this past winter at the Etobicoke Civic Centre, and she's excited to share her latest imaginative piece. Inspired by the idea that mushrooms can grow almost anywhere—from deserts to snowy regions—she took it a step further and imagined one growing at the end of a rainbow. Through creating this artwork, Mia learned that with a little imagination, anything is possible. Her favorite part of the piece is how beautifully the colors blend together, and while she says drawing isn't her strength, she's discovered a real talent and love for painting.
