Youth Arts 2025

Information, Rules & Regulations

This annual juried exhibit is a great opportunity for young artists to showcase their work publicly and have it professionally adjudicated. Visual art of all mediums are welcome - acrylic paint, watercolour, pen and ink, mixed media, photography, sculpture - you name it! This year's theme is Small Wonders.

"Discover the magic in tiny things! Make them big through art and see the amazing world in a whole new way!"

Show dates: May 30 - June 20, 2025, displayed at the Beeton Library 42 Main St W, Beeton, ON L0G 1A0

To complete and submit this online form you will need the following:

  • $10 entry fee

  • Title of your artwork

  • Size of original artwork and, if applicable, the framed size

  • Exhibitors may submit one or two works up to 36" x 36". Works must not have been exhibited in a previous SSAC show.

  • Artist Biography: Introduce yourself and your artwork! We've come up with some questions to get to know you. Answer as many as you'd like and we will create a bio with these details.

  • Image of art work (maximum 3, jpeg or png)

  • Help us tell people about the Youth Arts exhibit.The SSAC will promote on our website and social media. Please post and share with your friends! Our social media handle is @SSACArts4All and this year's hashtag is #SSACYouthArts2025

    Youth Arts Rules & Regulations 2024

  • Participants must be between the ages of 5-18 years of age as of June 1st, 2025.

  • Exhibitors may submit two works up to 36" x 36". Works must not have been exhibited in a previous SSAC show.

  • All works must be original. Reproductions (copies, whether mechanical or digital) will not be accepted. (This means you can't trace or copy someone else's idea.)

  • All works will be judged by a professional artist. The decisions of the adjudicator will be final. Award amounts vary based on sponsorship each year. Winners will be announced after adjudication is complete.

  • If you wish to sell your artwork, please indicate the price on the application form. Works not for sale must be marked NFS.

  • The artist's name and title of the piece must be on the back of each piece. Three dimensional art should have a label securely fastened so it is out of sight (if possible) when placed on display.

  • All art must be delivered to SSAC at 41 Victoria Street East, Alliston by 4:00pm on by the Art Drop Off Deadline: May 28, 2024

  • The submission of any entry gives permission to SSAC to make and use images of accepted work for publicity, documentary and archival purposes only, including the SSAC website and publications.
