Angel MacLean

Angel MacLean lives in the Simcoe County area with her family of six and her beloved pup, Titan. She is a visual artist, writer, photographer and avid seeker of knowledge.

She has discovered a passion for doodling, and along with her colouring books and pages, she offers various workshops that teach doodling and expressive painting.

As a self proclaimed stationery junkie, Angel also spends many hours creating various handmade, and digital, stationery products. Her favourites are journals, notebooks, planners, and workbooks. She also has a love for all things bohemian and hippie.

As her personal life journey has guided her through a process of self-actualization, self-reflection, and an interest in spiritual practices she tries to integrate these elements into her products as well.

Having an addiction to finding ways to keep materials out of our landfills, she seeks out ways to re-purpose various items that can be found in recycle bins, garage sales, and second hand stores to make them into "gifts that keep on giving". Many of her handmade products are a result of transforming old items into something new, interesting, and fun.

Her avid interest in supporting those living with anxiety, depression, and ADHD (neuro-divergent), as she does herself, has allowed her to align her products with mental health support as well.

She is in the process of creating a series of card decks, journal prompt cards, and affirmation cards that invite self-reflection. Their purpose is to educate in order to minimize the stigma surrounding anxiety, depression, and ADHD, as well as provide a variety of coping strategies, positive affirmations, and exercises that support those living with these challenges.

In the future Angel hopes to add various spiritual-based products to her repertoire of handmade items.
