I primarily work by hand using stoneware and porcelain clays and specialize in one of a kind 'slab built' pottery without using a potters wheel.
My style is uniquely non-traditional and I make a variety of items ranging from vases, plates, bowls, casserole pots with lids as well as mirror frames embellished with jewellery and also heart shaped, wall mounted plaques.
I also do "Sgraffito" style pottery by applying to an unfired ceramic body two successive layers of contrasting slip or glaze, and then in either case scratching so as to reveal parts of the underlying layer giving my work a unique design.

Jackie hand builds a unique range of functional Stoneware pottery featuring her signature "folded" bowls, divided servingdishes and popular berry bowls. She frequently incorporates textures on the surface of the clay imprinting with lace and leaves and glazes with organic glaze combinations.
Her Raku features "one of a kind" sculptural birds, fish and trees, platters, wall hangings, vases and Christmas decorations in irridescent metalic copper and white crackle finishes.
