Daya Cole is a 2001 graduate of OCAD who experiments in various styles and media. She has had a 12 year career as a graphic designer creating visuals for community education, and for the past 12 years she has been teaching Visual Art and Communications Technology with the York Region District School board. Her skills range from highly representational to abstract art, and she takes commissions for portraits and landscapes.

The pieces submitted for entry in the Explorations exhibition are the …And It All Shall Pass…, oil on canvas, which explores the subconscious, childhood trauma and letting go, and the second piece, Jupiter Beach, which is an experimental piece with acrylic pour technique.
