Dian is the author or Life in the Big Forest, her first published children's book of fiction. She is a former career woman, a dear wife and a loving grandmother. Her writing has been a lifelong passion which she now has the time to pursue. She has had her works published in Chicken Soup for the Soul, short stories in the local Margravine Media publication, the Briar Crier and other publications in and around Alliston, Ontario. She has also won international acclaim for her poetry in a competition sponsored by a U.S. based woman's organization.
