I am a retired Social Worker with over 30 years experience providing support to children, adolescents and their families in various educational institutions and social service agencies. Throughout my years of practice, I was a supporter of the Arts. I realized that creative outlets help to channel feelings that are sometimes difficult to express verbally. Expression through the Arts whether Literary, Performance or Visual can reduce stress and anxiety, as well as boost self-awareness and self-esteem. The Arts promote mental health and wellbeing.
