Heather Burford
I am both an artist and published author.
I completed my Bachelor of Fine Art through Georgian College, Barrie Campus and BCOU. While undergoing my art degree with a focus and passion for painting and drawing, I took the opportunity to learn the art of writing and illustrating children's books. Merging both writing and drawing/painting, I have written and illustrated my debut book The Mystery at High Lake, the first book in The High Lake Detectives series.
I treasure time with my family enjoying outdoor adventures including hiking, skiing, canoeing and so much more. The time spent in nature informs both my art and writing.
