The Dance Workshop
Located in the heart of downtown Alliston, The Dance Workshop offers quality dance instruction for boys and girls ages 22 months to adult. Voted best dance studio in South Simcoe in 2020 and 2021.
With classes for all ages, abilities and aspirations, we believe all students deserve the same high standard of dance education and equal opportunities to strive for their personal best. We offer recreational, competitive, exam, Dance Ability Movement classes and adult classes. Dance styles include Acro, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Tap, and Modern dance.
The Dance Workshop is the only YPAD ( Youth Protection Advocates in Dance) certified studio in the region. As a certified studio all of our instructors complete a criminal reference check, receive CPR and First-Aid training, complete a 6 hour course on safety and wellness and are committed to age appropriate artistic choices in music, costumes, and movement. To maintain our standing as a YPAD studio we must renew our certification every two years.
