Who are the Wordsmiths?
We are people with a passion to write, a love of words, a story to tell.
We are a diverse group that welcomes writers from all genres and experience levels. We have budding poets, emerging authors and published novelists, all united by a love for the written word. We support and inspire one another in an encouraging environment that allows creativity to flourish.
We share our writing with monthly themed writing challenges that push us to sharpen our skills, explore new ideas and try different techniques. Our regular meetings provide a space for sharing works in progress and celebrating one another's growth.
Established by the SSAC in 2014, the Wordsmiths continue to grow in partnership with the New Tecumseth Public Library. We meet weekly at the Alliston branch of the NTPL on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 1pm - 3pm.
