Come find us at the Potato Fest! We're making potato pals out of bubbles, food colouring, and dish soap!
This creative workshop is the perfect place to take a break and learn a fun craft! Each child will recieve one page and a straw to make their Potato Pals. We'll provide bowls filled with dish soap, water, and food colouring. Using their straws they'll blow bubbles into the mixture and press their paper on top. The results will be a page full of abstract circles. Then, they'll get to draw over their abstract circles transforming them into potato pals!
Drop in workshops do not require pre-registration. Participants can join at any time during workshop hours. There is no fee to participate but we ask that you register at the front desk when you arrive. Space is limited to 8 participants at a time. Parents and guardians are required to remain on sight with their children.
Courtyard Studio is a special series of workshops made possible in part by funding from Canada Summer Jobs. Their generous support allows us to offer these workshops at a low cost, making creative opportunities more accessible to our community.
Location: The Courtyard beside FortyOne: Local Art Market, 41 Victoria Street East, Alliston
