We are buzzing with excitement about these cute bugs! In this eco-friendly art workshop, kids will transform old lightbulbs, colourful wire, beads, and craft materials into whimsical bugs and beautiful butterflies. With a focus on imagination and sustainability, participants will learn how to safely repurpose materials to create eye-catching insect sculptures that sparkle and shine.
Kids will bend and twist wire to shape wings and antenae, decorate with beads and recycled bits, and use their creativity to design a one-of-a-kind creature to take home. It's a perfect mix of art, science, and fun—ideal for curious minds and crafty hands!
Courtyard Studio is a special series of workshops made possible in part by funding from Canada Summer Jobs. Their generous support allows us to offer these workshops at a low cost, making creative opportunities more accessible to our community.
